D. Dean Riley Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Accounting

Mr. Riley retired from his CPA practice in 2020 after more than 50 years

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL, March 30, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — D. Dean Riley has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

While serving in the United States Army, Mr. Riley took a proficiency test in order to ascertain his strengths. Each time he took a test, he was pointed toward the accounting industry. After three years of service in the Army and four years of college study, Mr. Riley graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and began as a state income tax manager for Pneumo Dynamics, where he worked between 1967 and 1970. Subsequently, Mr. Riley gained valuable expertise in the field as a certified public accountant for a transportation company.

Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Riley remained driven to stay on the cutting edge, earning a Master of Science in taxation from his alma mater during the mid-1980s. From 1982 until his retirement in 2020, he excelled as a certified public accountant for D. Dean Riley CPA. In order to remain aware of ongoing industry changes, Mr. Riley aligned himself with several organizations and societies, including the Tax Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In conjunction with his steadfast dedication to the accounting industry, Mr. Riley volunteered his time to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Additionally, he has competed in a number of running races at ABC’s Wide World of Sports and the National Senior Games held in Orlando, FL, placing fourth in the 10K run and winning a Bronze Medal for the 5K run. While his career has been filled with notable achievements, he is most proud to have been a contributing delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business held in 1986. In the coming years, Mr. Riley aims to enjoy the fruits of his eventual retirement.
